Mio works hard to forget the sadness of divorcing her husband before her children can remember. She came to a hot spring inn on her first vacation in a long time. She is served by a young man who works at the inn she visits. At first she was chatting that she was a cheerful young man, but the pendant the young man was wearing was the same one that Mio gave her when they parted. The young man believes he is his son. Mio hears from her young man that her father ran away at night and left behind debts, and that her guarantor's son works at the inn from morning till night.
